Tenute Gebelias was born in the early years of the last century out of love, passion, and dedication to the land. Every aspect of winemaking reflects the experience of multiple generations, valuable teachings, and a deep bond with the territory — a hallmark of the estate from the very beginning.

Tenute Gebelias produces high-quality wines through two lines: “Le Battaglie” and “Gebel”. The vineyards are located in the hills near the Barisardo plateau, in the Ogliastra region, about 250 meters above sea level, with exposures ranging from southeast to southwest, ensuring maximum sunlight throughout the year. The constant sea breeze enriches the grapes with a unique and precious character.

Founded in the early 1900s, the estate grew by following in the footsteps of Nicola Loddo’s grandfather — Nicola being the current head of the winery. The vineyards lie within the so-called Blue Zone, one of only five areas in the world with the highest concentration of centenarians. And this is no coincidence: the Cannonau produced here contains antioxidant properties up to ten times higher than those of other wines.
